Very nice views from the rooms. Large windows with lots of light.

The road to the hotel is very steep. The location of the hotel is a bit out of town and you have to rely on a taxi/scooter to explore the area. We had mold in the silicone joint in the shower and a spider in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was not very varied. The hotel manager was very pushy with us at breakfast and made inappropriate comments about our respective eating habits - felt harassed. When we asked him about his misbehavior, he became aggressive and loud.

What was the highlight of Samui Bayview Resort & Spa

The views are wonderful throughout the hotel, just as seen in the website. The staff are very helpful and will quickly try to fix any issue. I really liked the restaurant meals and their indoor/outdoor eating and bar area. The pool is also very good good, offering an infinity experience, and again, great views. The buffee breakfast is quite good. The hotel has a charming Mediterranean feel, although somewhat tired in appearance...but this is reflected in the price, so quite good value.

The gym needs more attention with faulty equipment. The air conditioners are too old and noisy. You need transport to get to beaches and entertainment areas. They have a shuttle bus, but doesn't leave often enough. If you have a scooter/van/car then no problem....everything only minutes away.

the view from the terrace was amazing!

Everything was great except the bathroom :( Only the bathroom was terrible because it smelled bad and the shower had little water. More than worse, the dirty water was running from the toilet and bathtub.

You either have to hire a car $1500b a day Or a motor bike $250b a day You can’t walk 45min walk to shops and beach Taxi 400b one way to shops Road dangerous for walkers. Otherwise it was very good

Very Good

The view from the hotel was amazing. We arrived at 11pm and there was not receptionist however the engineer of the hotel help us with the check-in. His english was not very good but we managed to understand each other.

Breakfast did not have many options and most of the times the trays were empty. Someone knocked at our door at 6am in the morning and opened our door at 8.30 on the first day.

What was the highlight of Samui Bayview Resort & Spa

The resort itself is like stepping into a postcard, it's that beautiful. The staff are warm and friendly and very willing to be of assistance and go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant one. Be alert as far as cleanliness goes as the cleaners did try and dupe the staff as far as cleaning my basin and bathroom went, (which they very clearly ignored) but it was sorted out as soon as i raised the issue. The breakfast buffet is very enjoyable. I spent 4 nights at this resort and Holly and Breeze were wonderfully accommodating and helpful!

The biggest downside of Koh Samui is the transport, taxi-drivers; tuk-tuk drivers and anyone else exploit tourists by charging a fortune for transportation. It was as ridiculous as for every Km travelled, the cost would go up by 100 Baht. Not even their version of Uber was very cost-effective. Tourists have no choice but to fork out their money as walking on the roads in Koh Samui is hazardous and the chances of being in an accident are high - so dont. This resort is situated on a hill, so be sure to tell your driver that he needs to take you to the top of the hill, otherwise they will leave you at the bottom, and trust me when i say, it's not a hill you want to climb, especially after a day out.

The facilities at the hotel were good, the pools had beautiful views. The food was excellent

Due to us being a young couple, we were put in a basic room next to the stairs and under the restaurant, therefore it was really noisy at night when trying to get to sleep. Though we could not fault the food, the service was extremely slow and un organised, even found the waitress to be quite rude.

Expect a little, and get a lot!

Very relaxed ambiance. Beautiful view of course and we got help with all our questions and requests from the very helpful staff at the reception.

The resort has passed its best before date. So it needs some updates here and there. But still charming enough and price for value is absolut.

The view was the best. That's all I can say about the hotel there's nothing good I can say.

It was far from everything. Needs a huge revamp very old. We asked for an upgrade because the room we had was so dark and gloomy. The staff are not friendly and I think they need a new manager. The only friendly staff member was Honey she was a darling and the shuttle driver.

The rooms were great, which was a total surprise considering the general state of the rest of the hotel, and the staff friendly. Good location with fantastic views.

The hotel was not as pictured on booking.com. The hotel it's self was really run down and forgotten about. In my opinion was probably too big to maintain. The restaurant area was dirty as were the pools, which we never used for that reason. It showed beautiful 3 possibly 4 infinity pools in photos but in reality one was out of action and the others were to a poor standard. The hotel had very few guests and the few that were there didn't use facilities either as there were nobody on sun loungers or in pools. The gym also pictured on the sight was of poor quality too really old equipment, this was one of the reasons I booked this particular hotel. A real shame as I thought Best Western hotel had some kind of reputation to keep. On whole disappointing.

A nice stay over Christmas

The view from the restaurant is absolutely beautiful, the rooms were a good size, the pool and gym area were okay, breakfast was good

I feel like it was beautiful back in it’s day but needs some love, parts were a bit run down. Ideally you need a moped to get anywhere as it’s too far to walk

great pool view amazing views. The gym is also decent with free weights up to 25KG. Amazing staff as well!

the resort is quite isolated so you have to rent a motorcycle to go anywhere as taxi’s are super expensive or you need to walk down hill to the street. WiFi is mediocre as you need to enter password every time

The most amazing location and view, the hotel was clean and had amazing interior, the staff were incredible people who were friendly & caring any time of day. Would recommend anyone to stay in this hotel as the food, pools, room and the stunning view is worth it.

View was wonderful

Staff not guest oriented... too often talking between themselves. Rooms need serious upgrade. Resturant veey disorganised... no lantern or candle on table to be able to see food. Pictures in menu not what you get for your order. Way over priced food.
